On Sept 11th 2001,  George Tabb was living a bit too close to the twin towers.  Without going into the details, pretty much everyone knows what happened that day.   All of the dust that resulted from the disaster has made many people sick including George.  Due to the health issues that George has been dealing with,  it's pretty much depleated his money.  George has always taken time out of his life to help others, so we'd like to help him out.

 

On Sept 11th 2007,  We at Psychic Hamster Records released Help George Tabb Vol. 1.   This album was comprised of songs performed by fans and friends of George,  many of them performing songs written by George.   This was a really fun project,  and the profits from the album went to George to help with his expenses.   Admittedly do to less than aggressive promotion, this totally awesome record has only seen modest sales.  It's one of the best punk rock records I've ever heard, so I suggest you buy it from the Psychic Hamster Records online store.

 

 

Now, we're gearing up for volume two and we need your help.  We want your band to record either a song George Tabb wrote, or you may submit an original song.   If you performed on the first record, you can do something different for this one if you like...  If someone played the song you really wanted on Vol 1,  if you can play it different,   go right ahead.  If your band is a bunch of lazy monkeys, and you want to sing one of George's songs..  Psychic Hamster Records is willing to provide you a band. (We did this for Mike Blanx on vol. 1).   If you want to perform a song on this CD, there shouldn't be anything stopping you... and if there is,  tell me about it, and I'll try and help remove the roadblocks.  Have a look at the first album in the Psychic Hamster store for the track listing...  and then pick your song,  grab your gear and get rocking!

We're going to take a little more time on this project than we did on the last one...  but by all means,  get going on your part so we can release this and get George some help already!
